My mail is a componente + module to send Newsletter for Joomla (1.0.XX o 1.5.XX Legacy Mode).
In Backend you can:
Create users categories;
Insert Users or import it by a CSV file assigning a category to them;
Send personalized Newsletter with the Userneme using tag [NAME];
The module, to publish in Frontend, allow subscribe or unsubscribe.
